Parties with Lost Elections started the Debate

Elections have always been a matter of controversy in India. Be it Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) or paper ballots, both have had their fair share of doubts and shortcomings. During the reign of paper ballots, a party’s win in the elections was attributed to booth capturing, in today’s time, it is blamed on EVM tampering.which make it quite possible to raise the questions

Here's the question rises that is it possible or there is any chance to hacked the EVM❓.. 

The EVM was introduce because by the use of ballot paper there was a wastage of paper in high quantity and will affect the environment in long term million of trees were required as paper is made of lakhs of people were  for needed in counting of vote.After the introduction of EVM it was blamed by some particular group that the EVM still have some short comings

During 2014 election vvpat vvpat was also added along with the EVM machine

Now before  VVPAT  for the one vote you have to press the button light glows and this indicates that your vote  is added but after the vvpat was putting along with the machine when you vote you were shown a slip by  vvpat in which the name of person you voted was shown remember you cannot take this sleep it just show to you this process will give vpat the transparency and double verification will also done.

Total there are three machines

1.Balate unit - button is pressed 

2.Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail(VVPAT) - for the verification

3.Control unit - programmed by the officer

This  stand alone independent machine or EVM is made by Bharat Indian electronics limited which was completely Indian in origin and these three machines were  connected to each other there is no chance to connect the Wi-Fi or any other third party to that machine

so what are the problems regarding EVM

1) the opposite parties blame that till  the  2000 votes the machines is ok but this machine is programmed in the way that after 1 lakh vote all the vote will transfer to one particular party

*See the  party doing this has to steal the machine in the process by cracking the live camera security strong room temper security system and change the programming and keep the machine back

*If someone is really doing this that how much machine the party steel and after that how will you get to know that the machines that you are cracking will go to your constituency

*This only happen if the person who  built the machine has set up the programming while he was building it. but in that case also random machines picked and checked by casting 1 lakh votes. second thing the person who has built the machine should know the party whom all votes are to transfer what is allotted number or allotted serial number of that party it is very difficult to know that because it was generated in the end

 2)One more thing is sad that you will press the button once  here  and which cast  the two times  to the party

 If the ballot unit is there and you will press the button one time and vote will appear two time in vvpat this counting will mismatched and voting will dismissed their only

3) it is said that once voting is done after that vote were increased

One the voting get complete then the incharge of the pulling both seals the machine in front of all parties.All representative ensure if it has been sealed properly or not and all members note that how many votes were added to that machines and also starting and closing time of votes were also noted by the incharge so if someone try to add the votes. it will come in notice with in the time. All the members will say okay then machines will sealed. After that there is a unique slip that is one given to the representative of that political party and second is kept by the officer now the machine will be open only when the code of both sides are together.(Like  earlier booth capturing was done. there is no chance for that) the machine was kept under 24×7 camera security vision  and when the date  of result announcement come near if there is something unnatural in machine the process will stop.  the number of the total votes will match with the given list. counting is start when the party say so. Result is matched with  vvpat randomly.

At the end criticism goes to EVM because in India more or  Less every political party criticized the EVM machine at many times

After all the controversies by opposition or the parties which lost the elections

On June 3,2017 election commission challenge all the political parties to came and prove it by  hacking  the EVM  with the help of any expert from any part of the world.

         No one accepted  this challenge

So why in western countries EVM is banned 🚫

 In 2009, a German court banned EVMs. The ruling was interpreted to mean that the court concluded that a computer-based system of voting required knowledge of programming that citizens did not have and, hence, the system was 'opaque. This defeated the constitutional requirement of public examinability of all essential steps in an election.
